FREY: +5.9% visitors and +3.6% Sales in 2017 for its entire property portfolio
Despite the fact that the footfall index for shopping centres was down by 1.8% in 2017 (aggregate index since 2017 – source CNCC), the property investment company FREY has announced a 5.9% rise in footfall for all its assets combined.
The assets that outperformed in 2017 include: Clos de Chêne in Montévrain (77), with 10.4 million visitors, Supergreen in Terville – Thionville (57), with 5.5 million visitors and O’Green in Agen – Boé, also with footfall of 5.5 million visitors.
Another index indicating the performance of property assets is total Sales by retailers in FREY’s property portfolio, which grew by 3.6% in 2017.
This was a stand-out performance in a tough business environment for specialist retailers, whose total Sales fell by 0.2% in 2017 (vs 2016 – source PROCOS).
