2017 winners of the “Passeport pour la franchise” competition: Ecureuil Vert, Augustin and Ecomiam
Organised at the premises of the Fédération Nationale des Caisses d’Epargne, on the initiative of Gouache Avocats, Axe Réseaux and KPMG France, the “Passeport pour la Franchise” announced its verdict on Thursday, 22 June 2017. The purpose of this prize is to help projects with potential to develop their franchise network by offering them the services of franchise experts. In 2017, the prize was awarded to three concepts considered promising: Ecureuil Vert, Augustin and Ecomiam.
FREY, the retail property specialist, awarded its special prize to Augustin, a bakery concept. Founded 10 years ago by Boris Calle, the brand now has 13 bakeries in Brittany, both in town centres and shopping centres. The bakeries are beautifully decorated and the range includes snacks and light meals. 90% of the bread is sold by weight. The property investment company was convinced by the soundness of the concept and its fundamentals. As a result, the Augustin brand will enjoy one year’s free rent in a Frey open-air shopping centre.
